Just a reminder that the 2022 Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week in NL will be held on February 13 -19.

Celebrations will be limited, but an email or card expressing appreciation can often make our Administrators, Teachers and School Staff feel valued. They need it this year, more than ever.

Teachers and other school staff members change the lives of hundreds of children in NL every day, and their work and impact extend far beyond the boundaries of the classroom. They seek to nurture a students’ natural curiosity and meaningfully connect classroom learning to the outside world. They inspire a lifelong love of learning and make a difference in a child’s well-being and success.

Our teachers and school staff should feel pride in their chosen profession. Their patience, dedication and expertise greatly impact the lives they touch.

The NL Federation of School Councils says, thank you – school administrators, teachers, student assistants, administrative supports, custodians, and bus drivers for your thoughtful caring and commitment, especially during the pandemic. You are important partners in helping our children become all that they can be.
